Last week we celebrated Mother’s Day at our school. Each classroom prepared a little performance for their moms. Children sang a couple of songs and made really cute and wearable necklaces as gifts. I also heard and purposely read a few stories about motherhood and what moms think about their children. It is fascinating to me to hear stories about inspiring sacrifices and silly joys – but also about the disappointments of motherhood.
I believe that each mother has the right to be the mother that she is meant to be and that we, the children, learn how to love, understand, forgive, and honor our mother for the lessons that she has chosen to give us.
That said, check out our beautiful and very wearable necklaces. Children as young as 2.5 can make them, I promise!
